2024 Miss U.P. Rodeo

Calli Niemi

 Hello Everyone,

My name is Calli Niemi and I am 17-years old, I live in the small town of Bessemer, Michigan and I am your new 2024 Miss U.P. Rodeo Queen!! I am beyond excited to represent and share my love for the sport of rodeo! When I was younger and attended rodeos with my family, I would admire the queens and told   my  parents some day that would be me! Did I think it was possible, maybe, but here I am today and absolutely ecstatic for all the adventures that lay ahead in the year to come! I owe a special thank you to all   my sponsors, the rodeo board members, Caitlyn Looby and my parents! Without these incredible people   my dreams would not be a realtiy today. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who have   supported me on my journey in any way so far! Remember to always chase your dreams.

Yours Truly, Miss U.P. 2024 Rodeo Queen, Calli Niemi

2024 U.P. Rodeo Princess

Addison Kakuk

Hello everyone,
My name is Addison Kakuk. I am 13 years old and from Stephenson, MI. When I heard my name for the awards and the princess title I was filled with joy and excitement. A little about me……..Last year I was the 2023 Carney Round Up Rodeo Princess, and enjoyed representing and volunteering throughout the year. I am looking forward to representing the sport of rodeo and the U.P. with my new title. I have been involved in rodeo and horse shows since I was 6 years old. I am also on the volleyball, basketball, and track teams in middle school and an active member of student council. I would like to give a huge thank you to my sponsors and family for supporting me on this journey. I couldn’t have done it without you. I look forward to making you all proud in the year to come.
~Yours truly, 2024 U.P. Championship Rodeo Princess, Addy Kakuk

As Miss U.P. Rodeo I have a motto of “Be Fearless”. Often times in our world today, kids are scared to be outside of their comfort zone. As Miss U.P. Rodeo, I love being that role model who can help the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls to “Be Fearless” when it comes to their dreams. Being a rodeo queen has so many amazing opportunities for meeting new friends, improving your horse skills, improving your rodeo knowledge, making lifelong memories, becoming a role model and teaching the next generation the western way of life. I encourage you to compete for a title! Win or lose, there are so many amazing opportunities gained from this experience. – Zoey Poupore, Miss U.P. Rodeo 2022
