Contestant Information

Thank you for your interest in the Miss U.P. Rodeo Queen & Princess competition. Miss U.P. Rodeo Queen and Princess have the distinct honor of representing the only P.R.C.A rodeo in the state of Michigan, the U.P. Championship Rodeo. During their title year both the queen and the  princess will represent the U.P. Championship Rodeo at events and other rodeos throughout the U.P. and the Upper Midwest.

Eligibility

The queen pageant is open to young women ages 16 to 24 while the princess pageant is open to girls ages 11 to 15. Contestants do not need to reside in the U.P. or even Michigan, girls from all over are eligible to vie for the titles.

As Miss U.P. Rodeo I have a motto of “Be Fearless”. Often times in our world today, kids are scared to be outside of their comfort zone. As Miss U.P. Rodeo, I love being that role model who can help the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls to “Be Fearless” when it comes to their dreams. Being a rodeo queen has so many amazing opportunities for meeting new friends, improving your horse skills, improving your rodeo knowledge, making lifelong memories, becoming a role model and teaching the next generation the western way of life. I encourage you to compete for a title! Win or lose, there are so many amazing opportunities gained from this experience. – Zoey Poupore, Miss U.P. Rodeo 2022
